BFT CD Release Party August 14

NY's industrial powerhouse Bitter Flesh Thing have finalized the details for their anticipated CD Release party. The show will take place this Friday August 14, 1998 at The Penny Arcade in Rochester, NY and will include two additional regional bands on the bill. Rochester favorites and all-girl band White Cotton Panties will perform along with upstate NY band Loopus.

The concert, presented in part by national sponsor Ernie Ball Guitars and Strings along with Typhoid Productions and The Penny Arcade, is expected to sell-out and will undoubtedly have some moments to remember. Zazu Pitts, Bitter Flesh Thing's lead vocalist and frontman, recently hurled himself into the crowd from stage during the band's performance in front of a crowd of 10,000+ at the Vans Warped Tour July 28 in Buffalo . He had to be dragged backed onto the stage by security guards in a human tug-o-war with the crowd which left Pitts shirtless and tattered. His usual stage behavior includes bizarre acts such as suffocating himself with a plastic bag until he passes out and questionable interaction with a mannequin.

Doors open at 9pm and tickets are available at the door only. Ages 17 and over will be admitted with proper ID.

All press and media are encouraged to attend and the band will be available to the media immediately following the performance. For press passes and further information, contact Universal Artist Management.
