Bitter Flesh Thing Finds a New Way to Shock People
Members of the band have become runway models
Controversial band Bitter Flesh Thing (BFT) from Rochester, NY has shocked and angered people in the past with their questionable stage antics, but this time, people have no idea how to react. Frontman Zazu Pitts and bassist Dain have decided to dazzle people on stage as runway models for a fashion show. "sub.conscious" which is being called "a flash forward into the future of transgressional style" will occur at Water Street Music Hall on Friday, July 21 at 9 p.m. The show is being presented by Hecate's Pupil (Rochester, NY) and will offer a sneak peak into fashions that have not even gone into production yet. Attendees of the show will vote on which styles they like and help manufacturers decide what will go over in the public eye.
When Jay Wolfe Productions (the official production company for BFT) was asked what they thought of the whole deal they responded with, "their the only 2 freaks Jay Wolfe will unofficially endorse." Zazu Pitts stated, "I've always been a little unsteady in high heels, but this time I hope to fall off the runway onto some rich person." Dain has repeatedly requested female apparel to model, however the presenters don't seem to be willing to oblige.
During the fashion show there will be DJ's spinning and photography and paintings on display. This expo of fashion, art, and music will be a first for Rochester and Bitter Flesh Thing.
