BFT Gains Label Interest After NXNE Showcase

Band Interviewed By Much Music

Rochester based band Bitter Flesh Thing (BFT) created quite a stir at Toronto's North by Northeast Festival (NXNE) playing in front of a standing room only crowd. People didn't know what was going on when the band hit the stage because they had never seen anything quite like it before! This was a good thing though, considering the fact that the band was approached by more than one label after the show.

After reviewing a press kit from BFT, a canadian indie label is talking with the band about recording some of their music. Official negotiations have not been entered yet, however it looks as if there will be some definite collaboration going on between the two.

BFT was also interviewed briefly by Much Music of Canada. When the interviewer saw the band there was no way there wasn't going to be an interview. A fan from Canada wrote, "I caught the quick clip of you on Much Music last week. Just thought I'd send some congrats. It was cool...but from what I've heard of your live shows, I doubt it would pass the board of directors..."
