Bitter Flesh Thing Shoots New Video
The new "Capricorn" video reflects band's unbridled

After a long hiatus while vocalist Zazu Pitts pursued other projects, Bitter Flesh Thing returned to release a video of their song "Capricorn" from their last full-length release, Voodoo Kills. The opportunity came about when director Suha Mumcuoglu, former worldwide fashion director at Neiman Marcus, approached Pitts. Mumcuoglu, who is now pursuing a digital multimedia path, remembered Bitter Flesh Thing from previous photos shoots.
For Bitter Flesh Thing, it wasn't even a question. When asked why he decided to do the video, Pitts replied, "When I had a chance to work with Suha again, I jumped on it. This guy's artistic abilities are amazing and I knew that the video would turn out great if he was involved" Feedback from their fans has backed up Pitt's comment as they are enthralled with the way the video turned out.
BFT plans to send the video out to cable channels and other media outlets to see what type of play they can get. This will not happen, however, until the band is closer to the release of their next album. They hope it will help them gain momentum again after a long time out of the spotlight.
The video is now available on the bands website at www.bitterfleshthing.net. As Pitts eloquently put it, the video 'sounds like a bullet to your head, but looks like the head after it's been hit...'
