BFT Vocalist to Sing with 80's Punkers New Math
Vocalist Zazu Pitts of the band
Bitter Flesh Thing has been asked to perform with 80's punk/psychedelic band
New Math (CBS Records/Enigma Records). The band that was later known as the
Jet Black Berries, was on the "Return of the Living Dead" soundtrack
and sold many records in Europe and the U.S. in the early 80's. New Math/Jet
Black Berries also had air play on MTV when they were at the pinnacle of their
success.
Reanimator Records has decided to put out a New Math greatest hits called "Wake the Dead" and hold a CD release show at Token Joe's on Saturday, April 17th (Rochester, NY). The band's former singer will not be performing so they asked Pitts to fill in. When asked if there will be any wild acts occuring on stage (bearing in mind the reputation of BFT's live shows), Pitts remarked "I drool on a regular basis."
