Bitter Flesh Thing Bassist Disappears
Band scrambles as their upcoming CD is near completion
Bitter Flesh Thing (BFT) bassist, Dain Piggott, has vanished and is nowhere to be found. It's happened before, but this time it looks permanent. Already missing for weeks, there is no evidence of where he is or who he's with. Having been through this before, BFT knows what they're up against and are already seeking a replacement.
Last time Piggott disappeared, he was found a week later wandering the streets of Toronto. He had been indulging in what the wild city streets have to offer. "We all knew that something would eventually happen with Dain, but we never thought he would just totally disappear," says BFT vocalist Zazu Pitts. Piggott is known for his wild and unpredictable actions which fit in perfectly with BFT's image. However, it is counterproductive when members of the band disappear.
With BFT's upcoming CD "Voodoo Kills" near completion, the band realizes they need to come up with a replacement quick. When asked if he's worried about finding a suitable replacement for Piggott, Pitts replied, "Things always fall into place for us, but on the other hand wherever we go, disarray follows."
