10.10.06	Zazu	We're getting closer!! I'm in the process of building a studio, meeting with musicians, and throwing musical ideas around for the next CD. I promise you that this one will be even better than the first two and venture into areas you've never heard before. I'm hoping for a summer release in 2007, but could take a little longer depending on all types of things including when the studio is completed and how long it takes to find just the right musicians. Just send me a message with questions or comments and I'll do my best to get back to you...
1.22.06	Zazu	Damn, life changes faster than most of you change your little (or big) undies. I am no longer doing Comadrome, but have been putting a lot of hard thought into what direction I want to go with Bitter Flesh Thing. I know I want to do something completely different, but am having a difficult time on nailing down what that is going to be. I've met with many musicians and have discussed hundreds of ideas. I'll make sure that the new music won't let you down. Keep touching the flesh....
5.31.05	Zazu	Check the music page for the Blade Trinity song that I wrote with my guitarist Al from Comadrome. Speaking of which, there may be some big news on the front forAl. He may be signing onto a major label with another band. What does that mean for me?? Bitter Flesh Thing is back, baby! This time, as always, I will make sure that the music knocks your head into the shape of a cornucopia. If you don't know what that is then let me assure you, you don't want your head in that form. That's hott.

11.04.04	Zazu	I will be posting a link to the song I wrote for the Blade 3 movie soon. We wanted to make absolutely sure it wasn't going to be in the movie before doing that. I co-wrote it with the guitarist in my other new band Comadrome, which you will be hearing more info on soon.
10.04.04	Zazu	I saw a preview for the Blade 3 movie and heard one of the main tracks. Sorta sucks that the song we submitted doesn't seem like it's going to make it in, but we will shop it to other soundtracks.
7.24.04	Zazu	The people from the Blade 3 movie are not responding to our liason about the song. Most likely that is not a good sign, but you never know.
7.02.04	Zazu	The musical supervisor for Blade 3 has been reviewing the song and we will see what happens.
6.08.04	Zazu	Damn!! I don't update this board very often. So here is the scoop on the rumors you've been hearing...Yes, I wrote a song for the Blade 3 soundtrack, but don't know if it's going to make it into the movie or not. I will post the song at some point I guess. Also, I am taking on a new project and BFT is still around, but will be on the back-burner for a while. The new project which I'm playing drums in is called Comadrome.
2.17.04	Zazu	So...I've been ramping up the studio with new equipment, very expensive equipment that will make us sound better than we actually are. Expensive equipment is fun, but dangerous to have around me. I don't want to talk about it. Also talking to new talent and collaborating with some previous members of BFT. What's in store will make your ears blister and eyes bleed. Better get under your bed in a fetal position now because I'm already there...
1.4.04	Zazu	Check this out...I am in the process of reinventing the entire band. My little brain is hard at work coming up with the new direction, sound, and image of the band. I promise it will be something that will blow away what we've already done. Check back here often...
7.3.03	Chi	Just wanted to let the fans know that I'll be at the show as long as I don't get into a high-speed car accident or blow myself up tomorrow with fireworks. I'll be saving some half-sticks of dynamite for anyone at the show who's standing there looking stupid.
6.9.03	Zazu	We're setting up some summer shows with our new bass player, Leech (yes, its his real name, or at least part of it). For some reason we decided to go with a member that can snap at any minute. No one ever knows what is going to happen with him. Last time I saw him he was pushing a bass cabinet out of a second floor window because it didn't sound right. Of course, I had to piss on top of it from the window after that.
05.06.03	Zazu	BFT is currently tossing around ideas in the studio for a possible new CD. We've had some trouble with members of the band possibly having to leave recently. In the meantime, we are trying to be productive and keep things moving forward. All I know is we just want to play some great music for the fans so we will try and keep it coming...

5/7/01	Zazu	We have a new bass player! Dain never returned and Leuth has taken his place. Leuth is hard to describe...I guess you'll have to wait and see his member page as soon as it is up to see what I mean.
4/23/01	Zazu	This is it...the mastered CD goes out for duplication tomorrow and it sounds AMAZING!! Things are in place for the return of your savior. I promise the wait will have been worth it.
3/26/01	Trahelio	We just got back from a road trip to Philadelphia. It was a long day, but some great things came of it. That is, I now know for sure that my place is secure in the band. If not as the drummer, at least as a bus driver. Life is good.

3/6/01	Zazu	Just got back from a NYC networking party. The networking was with people in the music industry including label people. I don't know where it will lead us, but you can be damn sure something will happen. As far as the CD, 8 songs are pretty much at their final mix. Mastering will happen soon...
2/25/00	Zazu	Recording is basically done for the CD!! I know, we really can't believe it either. We're putting the finishing touches on the songs and mixing. The final mixes should be going out to the mastering house within the next month. What happened to Dain? We don't know. He may turn up someday, but as of the 2/14/01-News Release he is not a member of the band anymore. Auditions are being held, so contact us now before its too late.
1/20/00	Zazu	Work has resumed on vocals for the last 2 songs. Meghan Taylor of White Cotton Panties has been seen in the studio seducing the microphone. More info soon...
12/29/00	Zazu	Digital technology is cool, but sometimes sucks ass! The CD would have been done right now, except for the fact that an item in our computer based studio decided to say screw you. We're waiting for the replacement and will finish vocals on the last 2 songs. If we finish this album it will be a miracle...
12/12/00	Zazu	Many people are now pissed because of the amount of time its taking to get the CD done. We're almost there!! If we didn't have to bow to "Corporate America" to make a fucking living, then we'd have been done a long time ago. The wait is almost over and it will have been worth it.
11/21/00	Zazu	Thanks everyone for making the Halloween show such a success! There are pics on the images page and more will be coming soon. Many of you said it was the best show yet...well, that's just the beginning. We're making great progress on the last 3 songs of the CD. We're looking at a release date of early next year.

8/7/00	Dain	Just wondering if anyone took the time out of their busy day to realize that we are riding on a large rock in a circular pattern around a great ball of fire. We are fortunate to still be on that path, still be alive with the breath of life. Your job might suck. Your entire family may have died in a car wreck. You are still here. You can keep moving. You don't even have to be walking, because the earth is still circling. You are moving right now. Wake up out of your personal coma, your self-pity, your self-loathing, and join me and my friends(BFT). We remember how to enjoy ourselves without whining and sniveling our way through life. Things may happen to you that you can't control, Deal with it. Learn from it. Then keep moving. Look around you. Take notice. Enjoy your senses. I'm trying to shake my paranoia, and if I can do it, anyone can. This is a wake-up call from Dain. Stop suffering, and breathe dammit!!!!

6/26/00	Dain	The reason we die so young, is because the real measure of time is supposed to be "existence". We shorten our own lifespan because of time constraints. Time measured in segments creates stress which prematurely ages the heart and brain. Time is existence. No seconds,minutes, hours,... so on and so forth. Recreate your beliefs. Wake up!
6/16/00	Apostoly	So I was out at this downtown coffee joint and this guy with Buddy Holly glasses holding some kind of a book came up to me and said, "Hey do you play with Bitter Flesh Thing?" I replied "Yeah..." So he say's " I saw you guy's perform at Red." "Your band had alot of energy but wasn't very, (how did he put it) artisticly stimulating." So I'm thinking to myself, what the fuck is this idiot talking about. The first thought that came to my mind was to put his head through the glass dessert display. To end this conversation I simply replied "sorry you feel that way" and turned to my date and proceeded with the conversation this idiot interupted. I suppose sitting alone in a public place reading a fucking book is artistically stimulating. Or maybe wearing glasses you don't really need is. Obviously This guy was trying too hard. Just for the record, I'm not interested in stimulating the minds of people who have the personality of a walnut. The only reason I do what I do is to beat the shit out of my guitar and to someday make a lot of fucking money. I'm only interested in what our fans have to say. I don't care if certain Artsy Fartsy wanna-bees don't like us. After we get signed to a Major Label I am totally going to sell out and join the WWF NITRO!!!!!! My name is going to be SKINNY WRECK.... Is That artistic?? I'm not sure..

4/24/00	Zazu	I have good news and bad news....we finished writing 10 songs for the new CD and are currently sequencing the last song. The bad news, we still have to record it all. Taking longer than we expected, but it will blow the pants right off your body when you hear it. I like when that happens...

3/21/00	Apostoly	I just wanted to take a moment and thank everyone that has made our last five months really successful. To thank these people we are currently putting together a compilation of music that you won't be able to eject out of your player. If this release doesn't make us rich and famous heroin junkies, nothing will. It's going to be music for your every emotion. Lust, Hate, Anger, And even Love (with aliens of course). 3/1/00	Zazu	Hey! We've been writing new material for the next CD and we're about half way done with completed songs. There are several more songs in the works, though. It won't be long now until the next BFT CD is out. You're gonna have to strap yourselves in for this one, it's something you won't forget. For those that heard a rumor about Dain leaving the band, its not true...he only disappeared for a few days and nobody could find him. Why did he disappear? Well, let me put it this way, he wasn't on a trip to Disney World.
